Stonybrook

We hiked beautiful Stonybrook and then swam downstream in the ice cold water. Colby's favorite part was climbing the rocks next to the waterfall and throwing the biggest rocks he could find into the water. Kate's favorite part was sleeping.

Finally Blogging Again

Colby's still having a little trouble giving up his crib to his little sis.
The most fun Colby has is when we get a package in the mail. Here he wraps up in the paper, but this isn't nearly as fun as when he does "booty bumps". A "booty bump" involves sitting on any air-filled packaging with enough force to pop it.
Kate's decided she likes baths. This is the first one she didn't scream through.

Naps or no naps

Colby's decided that he no longer needs naps, but we we're not so sure about that.

Some snapshots from Colby's Life

Colby dressed up as a little old lady in a bassinet cover. He got a big kick out of it. Danny dressed him. I'm never sure what's going to happen when the two of them go up into the attic to play.

Colby is always begging to go on bike rides with Daddy. Anything with Daddy is his favorite activity. When Danny goes to school, Colby tries to get him to stay by saying "Play with you, play with you." If Daddy doesn't stay to play then Colby won't kiss him goodbye. Talk about a manipulator.
Colby also loves to fill the mop bucket with toys and then climb in. He'll have a rude awaking when one day he doesn't fit.

We went to Lagoner Farms last weekend to pick apples. Colby and Danny went for a little train ride pulled by a teenage boy in a four-wheeler. I was a little leery about that one.

They also tried the apple sling-shot. Colby loved picking apples, so now we're trying to eat them all.

Here's our little two year old Colby or "Toby" as he calls himself on his way to bed. It's amazing what their little imaginations can come up with. He's got quite a list of stalling techniques.
